Ouch!
I don't know if reading The Secret Life of Bees out on the balcony brought them on, but there were bees building combs in my chair arm and in a corner of the balcony railing tonight when I went out to read my Newsweek. And how do I know this? Well, I sat down, reached down to deadhead the geranium, and one of the critters stung me! Youch!

Usually I believe in live and let live, but I like my balcony, so measures are being taken.

Checking Newsweek on line I find that there is a new problem in Iraq: 3000 Saddams have surrendered. Ut-oh.
